Steve joined the staff of Clairmont Hills Baptist as part-time Minister to Senior Adults in January, 2008. Prior to this he served as a bi-vocational Pastor of Custer Avenue Baptist Church for nine years.

Steve is excited about the opportunity to encourage others in their Christian walk and service. Steve envisions a ministry among Senior Adults that honors and affirms them through programs designed to meet their spiritual and social needs. Another priority is to help our Seniors find avenues of ministry within the church where they can use their considerable gifts and abilities to honor Christ and serve others.

Steve works during the week as an accountant for the Cobb County School District in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated from Georgia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also attended Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia. His wife, Cheryl, was a Program Director for DeKalb County Department of Family and Children Services and retired in 2008.
